G80? Need help with rear end

Quick question I'm looking at a few junkyard rear ends for my 02 tahoe with gt4 3:73 gears and on of the rear ends had a g80 option does anybody know what does this option means? And will it work in my truck ? Thanks

It's a limited slip differential. It will definitely fit, but they are known to be rather weak.
