I've been towing a 26ft travel trailer (6,000 GVWR) with my 2016 Yukon SLT XL (4WD)for a couple of years now with no problems.
In the process of trading in the TT for a 32 Ft Class C Motor Home.
The MH is capable of dingy (4 wheels down) towing of the Yukon. The Motor Home has a 8000lb hitch, GVAW 14000lbs and GCAW 22000lbs.
The Yukon, being a 4WD can be dingy towed with the proper tow bar, base plate etc.as long as the procedure in the owners manual putting the transfer case in neutral is followed. I’ve weighed the Yukon when I was towing the trailer, and it comes in around 6700lbs.
So, on paper, it looks like I could tow the Yukon with the Motor Home.
The question is, SHOULD I tow an 18 Ft Yukon behind a 32 Ft Motor Home? Has anyone seen or done this?
