Console removal on denali

Im wanting to remove my center console on my denali all together and replace it with just a fold up console or center seat type deal, anyone try this before? reason being Im running a manual transfer case and I need the room for my floor shifter

This is what we do in Norway.
Here you will see the center console removed and middle seat installed.
Not sure if you can get this seat in USA though. But I can look around and find out who manufactured these seats.
The reason we do this is beacuse having the truck registered with the rear seats do cost a lot of taxes. When the truck is 10 years, the rear seats can be installed for free.

^^That's different.

I would think that a set of seats from a silverado/sierra would likely work in your vehicle... and a lot of truck owners without a center console would probably be very interested in swapping out. I know that on a truck forum I'm on, they're all the time asking to swap out jump seats for consoles, etc.

You'll have to relocate your amplifier for the radio and do something with the heated seat switches for the rear.
