I did the vacuum on high and low. Did oil and all and the high side wouldn't get above 150 and low was 50. I decided I have to replace the compressor. Is there a certain brand I need to look for?

I couldn't get it to build head pressure. It would get to 150 and no more. I took it in and the shop said the only thing it could be was a compressor

It was on there when I bought the truck. It could have been trashed before and I have to admit I didn't add oil when I originally filled it. I bought it and stopped auto oreillys and filled with a can and attached gage setup.
