Yukon really been sitting lately. Wanted to take it to the beach so I ordered some rotors and pads, passenger front caliper and did some cleaning.

Well, amazon sent me rotors for a nbs, so they are a inch too small and I was past my return date. Shit. 32dcd9ae797e4b0162fc902796d11e75.jpg

Ok. Whatever. Leave a bad review and I’ll revisit this if it ever becomes an issue.

Changed the oil with fully synthetic and install my Fumuto quick oil drain, empty catch can and keep it pushing.

Then, on the way back from Myrtle Beach, the exhaust starts to sound a little more throaty than normal. But I hear no clanking or other weird noises.

I get home and the exhaust tip is sitting weird.

Get under the truck and see this.

I’ve had the truck 6 yrs and the PO probably had the exhaust on for 5 and it’s slowly starting to rust apart.

I’m looking at the MBRP stainless single exit for $334. Any other good suggestions? The truck only has 156k and a small oil leak that I need to address so it should be around for a while. I would love dual exits again just for the looks, but I just need something that works for now.

Installed the MBRP exhaust a while a go. Did a video on it.

Truck ac kicked the dust, needed tires and did a trans fluid drain and fill to the tune of $2700.

Seems the Charcoal canister bit the dust so I bought this:

https://amzn.to/466mqFq and the adapter harness https://amzn.to/3Pz1hOI

One of the front airbag sensors also is bad again. I have it, I just need to replace it.

Other than that, the truck is kicking and she only has 165,000 miles on her. Only really been driving her to go riding at Busco Beach or Red Oak.

I havnt updated the thread in a while. It seems it was removed from TapaTalk.

I also need to add an external trans cooler bc pulling the trailer loaded, anything over 70 and I can’t keep the trans temp below 210. I will prob end up with the trucool 40k. That seems to be the go too setup.

Tapacrap isn’t supported by the forum anymore. Good work on the truck, keep it up. :happy107:

Truck gave me a no start Friday and had to have it towed home. The negative terminal was giving me some issues a few months back, so I am going to start with that harness and test the starter while I have it out.

The first time she has let me down and luckily I was only 12 miles from home picking up dinner.

Wheel hub started to hummmmmmmm and my LCA’s were shot, so I replaced those. I have lifetime alignment at Firestone and now she is as smooth as Taylor Swifts Ass.

Now I have a clunk on semi hard acceleration. I’m thinking motor mounts. So I may order the hummer mounts and prob would be good to do the diff mounts at the same time.

Only 171,000 on old girl. Not to bad for a 2007.

Right before Christmas I ended up replacing both coolant adapters, all coolant lines, water pump and thermostat.

I then packed up the family and drove 4 hrs to Nags Heads for a week. Came back, and took the trailer to Fayetteville to buy a 4 wheeler. All has been well.

I do need to add a trans cooler before it warms up again.

I still need to do the airbag sensor and vapor canister vent valve and the new adapter harness, and all should be good to go.
