So I've been here about 9 years now and have no build thread. :confused:o_O All my work is spread all over Jesus in this place. Maybe time to start one?:oops:

I'll keep this list updated as memory serves and things continue along. Truck was acquired in 2017 with 290K on it.

2007 Chevy Tahoe LT 5.3 4L60E Factory BOSE system

VIN# 1GNFK130X7J144060

Tire size 265/70R17

Currently riding at 327,000+ miles

Motor is definitely original. Transmission works perfect but I can't imagine that it is original but I have no idea. Driveline is a bit loose as expected.

This was a one owner truck. Salesman at work bought it from a local dealer new, then when he joined our company as an outside salesman the company put it in their name and took care of all the repairs. So pretty much all highway miles. He did haul a lot of **** to jobsites so the interior is a bit torn up especially in the rear but the outside looks beautiful and there is basically 0 rust under it considering it's spent it's entire life here in the SE PA rust belt. He certainly kept it maintained and washed regularly. Always had my eye on it and rode his ass to sell it to me when the time came. Never used as a tow vehicle while in his possession.

Being it was a company vehicle I had to harp the owner about it when the time did come to sell it. I been working for him over 30 years. I offered $2,000 for it. He made arrangements to get the title transferred which I paid for. And he then told me it's mine, don't worry about the $2,000. o_O:):happy107::happy160:

A good PDR person could rub those little dents and dings out in no time. Its surprisingly affordable too.

yeah I need to add that to the to do list. I’d like to get the scratches out of the hood too. Paint and body work is not one of my strong points.
