07 Yukon - New Member

Hey everyone, been a lurking for a while, figured I'd post my recent Yukon buy and work I've done so far. 07 5.3 SLT with 300k miles :O. It had a new engine dropped in around 250k and I had the transmission rebuilt due to slipping after my purchase. Mainly my kid carrier but would like to make it last as long as possible. I've had an 01 Sierra for the last 20 years, which I kept, but figured I'd try my luck on the GMT900s (wife likes the body style more). The last thing I'm struggling with is my rack and pinion. I still get inconsistent return to center steering and after having replaced the entire front end and two alignments, I'm assuming that is the culprit. I've read mixed reviews on rebuilt units and was curious what everyone's current thoughts are on those. Happy to open another thread for that. It has been a great learning experience!
