Mine does not do that, sir. 2004 2500 8.1 4L85E 3:73 gears
Well that's good to hear. I didn't think this would be normal. For some reason doing a segment swap with efi live causes this annoying condition. Thanks for confirming.

Don’t make fun of me but what makes a 2500 so specially? Is it because thy have 6.0 L engine? Also what is quadrasteer?

No fun made... 1500 is basically a 1/2 ton truck, 2500 is 3/4 ton and 3500 is 1 ton. 2500 is desirable because is basically a suburban on a 3/4 truck frame with a larger motor. Quadrasteer means the rear wheels turn when you turn front wheels, not a lot but they turn nonetheless

2500’s have a beefier frame, the virtually bullet proof 4L80/85E transmissions, 8-lug axels, 9.5” 14-bolt rear diffs also in addition to bigger standard motors: 6.0L or 8.1L. Basically it’s a tank of a family hauler, great for guys/gals who want the towing/plowing/hauling utility of a HD truck but need the people moving capacity and cargo space of a Suburban/Yukon XL.

I didn’t get a picture of it sadly but I saw the ultimate NBS unicorn yesterday: 2500 Avalanche! Since I’ve moved to NH I’ve noticed a lot more 2500 Burbs up this way but this 2500 Avey is the first I’ve seen!

Pretty.

Time for new shocks on this dude. 170k this weekend.

What's everyones preference?

No four wheeling. It's a 2x4.

I don't always venture out into the sub-freezing darkness, but when I do, it is hunting season, and I carry a Remington. Stay hungry my friends.

Love the 2500 Suburban !

Bilstein 5100 shocks have an amazing ride, you can get the Bilstein 5160 which is mostly the same shock but with an external resivoir in different valve ratings for different application. Not sure if you plan on towing a lot or what. Could be worth the extra $ for the 5160.
