Yeah.... I was just looking into it this morning and it looks like the Denali isn't AWD only. Maybe that was just the previous generation. I have full-time 4wd right now in my 4Runner Limited and I don't like that I can't drive in 2wd and have a manual transfer case to engage 4wd when necessary.

I agree - the Jeep SRT Grand Cherokee is another example, totally different AWD system and not at all designed for off-road.

Tahoe. I prefer not to draw attention to myself while on the road or traveling.
Lol- I don't think there is anything really modest or discreet about driving a 5,500lb Tahoe.

My 2017 Denali is not Full-time all wheel drive. It has a switch on dash for 2WD, Auto 4WD, 4HI, and 4 LO.

I don't think these trucks bring much attention, good, bad, or otherwise. They seem to be about a dime a dozen around here whether it be the Tahoe or Yukons. The Eskys I don't see AS often but I see them often enough to not consider them flashy or drawing attention.
2017 Yukon Denali is available in 2WD and 4WD - AWD no longer offered. Go to the GMC website and either build an example or download the brochure.
Yes, as per above, I realize that the Denali is not/no longer AWD. I was confused with the previous generation... or just confused.
If money was no issue I would definitely get the Denali but it's a massive price increase from the SLE, SLT, to Denali- it's about a $10,000 increase per trim level in Canada. Even the SLT vs SLE is steep in my opinion. I'd consider just getting the convenience and value packages on the SLE for 3 grand and call it a day. Only thing I'd miss is the leather seats on the SLT. Most of the other perks of the SLT can be gained in the SLE convenience + value packages.

Perhaps you live in an affluent area but even then it's probably just an observatory bias because you own one. These vehicles (Tahoe, Burb, Yukon, XL) are less than 1.5% of annual car sales in the US. I still think full-size SUV's are sort of an f-you macho mobile and most, especially shiny black ones, draw eyes. Maybe you're just ultra high income and not as impressed by one lol.
