Hi all, I've noticed my wife's Yukon has gotten a bit "loose" I guess is the right word. Needs new shocks.
It has the ZW7 option with the rear Sachs shocks, the fronts are a blue color. I've researched the Sachs, I'm gonna stick with factory style shocks. I've found the rear replacements on Amazon, the Ac Delco ones for around $200 a shock. Are the fronts a self leveling also? Or can I just order some 4600 or 5100 Bilsteins? Truck has 167,000 miles, they've held up well. As has everything else on this truck.

Hmm, my 03 also has Sachs on the rear .Subscribed . Do you know what the ZW7 option consists of?

I put 5100's up front on my 04 w/zw7. They've been on for 2000 miles now. The stockers were definitely shot @120k miles and the Bilsteins seem fine, but curiosity might make me try other options. Haven't done rears yet...undecided on if I want to replace with Nivomats or do the Bilstein shock/spring combo. I've only towed ONCE in the 12 years we've had the truck so the leveling isn't a concern to me.

I'm also in need of shocks with 167k. I'm trying to see what comes up.
