Ok guys with the Z-71 lower valance can you tell me how the fogs mount? I got a new valance with 4" round openings (I'm assuming the Z-71 is 4" like the Denali) and think I can make those fog lights work easier than Denali lights.

the fogs have screws that go into the valance holes and bolt on w/ a nut on the back of the valance.

Sorry if that doesnt make sense, but if you have the lights infront of you and look at the valance its actually quite easy. Much easier than the regular valance fogs.

Thanks Mike. That gives me an idea of what I'll need to do to mount them with my set up, I think.

No problem. If your using aftermarket fogs just put them in the hole and mount on backside may have to cut the backside of valance for mounting. Or in short, the z71 fogs mount to the valance unlike our regular fogs that mount to the bumper.

Hope it helps somewhat. lol

It came with some crappy universal 4" round fogs that I can't bring myself to use, so that's why I was looking at the Z-71. I started by looking at the Denali fogs but the mounting points are built into the impact bar and that's $300 alone, plus it'd be a waste because I'd have to cut it up just for the mounts. The Z-71 fogs will work easier since all I need is the back of the foglight cup from a used valance at the scrap yard.
