I was just going to pop up our large tent in the yard  if the kids needs to urinate tell 'em to go find one of the 100 trees on the property but make sure to face away from the house as to not offend the Yeti family. We'll also block off an area for the lawn darts and the c0rnhole games. Robbie won't ever want us to leave!! :D

Apparently "c ornhole" is on "the list" :roflbow:
your corn hole is on my list

I'm sure this is how Mrs. Yeti sees all his heathen friends from online.

Messing with Ai again. I "think" I want to make those windows over the front door and the ones at the back of the house near the greenroom more triangular as they peak toward the top. Right now they are just stacked rectangles.

Yeah, those are gonna look great from the outside, but a hunnert bucks says the window covering (curtains or shades) situation for the triangular portion at the top is going to piss you off.

You’re probably correct. We plan on doing the electronic shades on that window. It faces the sunset so I’m sure it’ll get tons of light if not.

My current house is east facing. Sun sets behind the house. The summer heat makes it uncomfortable to be out there until the sun is behind the trees. New house is facing north so I dont have to deal with that.

Being from south Florida, it probably won't bother you

Have you seen the "U-Blockout" shades? They seem pretty nice. I'm going to try a set at my current house and see how they perform.

When we bought this plot of land we specifically wanted a western exposure to watch the sunsets. Oddly enough when the sun rises in the east we have so many trees we don’t get the direct sunlight. But when the sun sets it’s beautiful. Sunsets aren’t as bad as sunrises. I’m not a morning guy at all so sunrises are no bueno for me.

Our house here in SFL faces north so we don’t get any sun at all.

We had battery powered shades in our previous home. ( Batteries lasted over 2 years )….. those shades spoiled us.

The new house will more than likely have power ran to the shades so we don’t have to run batteries. I’d hate having to climb 20’ up to change a battery lol

whats that sposed to mean

my house faces east, lot to the east was heavily wooded till recently...got sold and buyer came in and plowed everything. never noticed how much i hated the rising sun before that, seemed like the sun rose an hour earlier.
couple week spent in west va mountains... being down in valley sun wouldnt clear the ridge till 10:30 11, kind of depressing for florida boy

We got the 3D CAD of the house yesterday. Uploaded it to YT for your viewing pleasure. I will preface it with we did not pick the decor lol. It's a bit too modern for me. I'm more traditional. We are supposed to meet next week sometime to go over the changes. I think Mrs Yeti and I need to sit down over the weekend and itemize things. The kitchen doesn't look as big to me, but for some reason I think the CAD guy used the old unrevised kitchen plans. We widened the kitchen by 2' so the island should be like 10-11' long. In the video it looks smaller. Maybe its just me.

And we bought a tritoon today. Well, put the deposit down. I ended up buying new. I'm pretty happy with the price we negotiated and what we are getting. They are letting us keep it there until the boat lift is installed. Then delivering it to the house for free.

That is sick and good customer service with allowing you to store and the free deliver up to the new house. That's awesome
