Wiring question

About to add a little boom boom to the Yukon. Where are you guys running the power wire thru the firewall? I haven't even looked at it yet. TIA

I didn’t bother with that hassle. Brought the power directly back and down inside the fender liner at about a 45 degree angle and along the frame and up through the floorboard on front passenger side under sill plate. Definitely wrapped the power in wire loom and attached it properly where I could. Ran the RCA along the driver side. Way easier in my opinion.

I saw that the other day. That's just a rubber grommet where you brought the wire in? I may just go that route too.

Yes, a rubber grommet and then I caulked all around it.

Definitely. Well, since I'm usually the only one in there and no one ever sits in the 3rd row, for the time being I am taking out the 3rd row and putting in the 2 15s out of my blazer. I just ordered a JP23 from Down 4 Sounds and that Eonon Android head unit.
