I'm looking at a vehicle with pictures that show the 2025 tahoe as having a heated steering wheel, the pictures should be correct since the VIN Number on the window sticker matches the VIN in the pictures. The window sticker doesn't show anything about the vehicle having a heated steering wheel. I have seen other window stickers that do list 'heated steering wheel' and also match what the images show of the vehicle.

Of course I would confirm all this information at the dealership, but this vehicle is not in my state and I'm still just browsing and not ready to call an out of state dealer that may want all my info just to answer a question.

I realize data that is listed on car selling sites and even on dealer sites could be incorrect (the actual data/bullet points on the site), but I always thought the vehicle sticker was 100% what's included in the vehicle. If the window sticker is missing the heated steering wheel and not accurate, I suppose that could also mean that items that are listed on the sticker could be inaccurate and not actually in the vehicle. This is why I would certainly confirm everything, but I wanted to see what others have experienced while browsing.

Thanks.

Which trim level is it? On the Tahoe, it is standard on Premier and High Country, optional on LT, Z71, and RST (in comfort package), and unavailable on LS.
High Country, I guess that explains it.

Thanks.

Sometimes hard to figure out specific installed equipment when they are part of some other option package. I had the same question about my 2024 Denali and I recall searching for info on the heated steering wheel and it was elusive. At the end of the day it was included, probably in some other package as noted above.

Pictures could be from stock photos and not necessarily the one for that VIN

I understand that, but they clearly seem to be of the vehicle with the VIN number showing on a previous photo. These aren't stock photos, they are in the dealer garage.

You can always check the options by running the VIN, but if the picture shows the heated steering wheel button AND the window sticker does NOT mention delete and/or to be added later, then it’s good to go!

Dealers also add factory options on a vehicle that they didn't have added when originally built. Of course they charge more when they do that.

Can you give an example of this? Other than all season floor mats or dark emblems, for example. I would think that it would be hard to add a heated steering wheel after the car has been delivered to the dealer. I'm sure it would be as simple as buying a steering wheel with the heater in the wheel and swapping out, but I can't see the dealer doing that on a brand new vehicle.

Interesting, I've never seen a window sticker with 'delete' or 'to be added later'.

Deleted was common in 2021/2022 model years w/ the Covid shortages.
Lots of vehicles got heated seats, rear parking assist, steering column lock, and a few other features withheld and then added later.
