Wife wants a smaller GM SUV, what's good and what should we stay away from?

My wife loves her '16 AWD 3.6 Equinox. She is a car girl and she says it puts sport in SUV.
At 90k miles, bought it in '16 as a CPO w/12k on it. Only a set of tires and brakes done to it.
Severe schedule maintenance adhered to.
With 310hp it is a little rocket.

We had a '14 and 2017 Terrain with that V6 engine and I sure agree, perfect power plant for those machines. Great gas mileage and pretty amazing power. Liked those little SUVs but we needed more room now.

Mustang to Edge perhaps? We have an Edge rental and it's pretty solid and peppy. And that is from a life long Chevy guy.
