4 sealed 10s under the backseat with the amps mounted to the roof and an alcantara headliner. OG mb quart q-series with mcintosh amps, 15" touch panel molded into the console with carputer and satnav/radio/internet. 7.1 would be cool too.

700 is supposed to have a lower noisefloor... and the 700 includes the RUX controller, unlike the 701 where they were sold separate

I like your dream :) I can;t dream that big :)

Didn't know that, I have a IVA-D310 which can control the 701 so I have no need for the RUX controller. Like you said, Dream, No way could I justify spending 5 figures for a sound system. Maybe one day when I'm a millionaire...One day...

Looks like your not a w7 fan Copper?

Not really man, I've kinda graduated to appreciating the overall range and quality of a system, not just if it can blow my ear drums out. To me the w6v2's are perfect, turned up 2 can deliver way more bass then any component system needs to sound fantastic. Beyond that it's all about DB's and I don't care about those anymore.
I used to be a hardcore bass *****, bass cd's etc. Once I started messing with improving the quality of sound my dream system changed from one that would blow your doors off, to something that would make you feel like you are in a ridiculous home theater.

I agree with you 100% Copper.
I'm more into quality sound over overdone bass.
People my age all think its about who has the loudest system, though it almost always sounds like shit!
I plan on doing an audio sway soon which will consist of dynamatting doors, low RMS speakers and probably a 10" 300w sub!
That will give me enough improvement over the stock 07 crap!

You have to run a regular sub with the cyclone or it makes like NO noise. But yea those things are super cool.. i would deifinitely run that over the loose 18 i was talking about.

MY dream system is DEFINITELY NOT 2 kicker cvr 15s ported at 28hz and 3 jl12w3v2s in a sealed box facing each other both running kicker amps right at/over ideal rms.

Tkemp.. this shit is tooooooo loud for me.. i came home with it on NEGATIVE 25 going to the subs and and the loudness off. and it was good.. clean.. tight and punchy.. i DO like how the 12s kinda sound more like mid bass now..

but **** when it stomps.. it STOMPS

True I guess the L8s would be even better, hi-passed at 60. :) I like no noise...

my favorite sub set up ever was a quartet of `04 JBL 12" GTO subs sealed, on an alpine mrv1000 and low passed at 65hz @ 12 db/octave. No noise, no thump, no kick, just absolutely massive omnipresent omnidirectional bass.

I like that alpine head unit copper mentioned.. the brushed aluminum is sick.

I'd do Focal Utopia Be No. 7's front and rear.. with 2 sets in the front. Hook those up to JL's HD amps..

3 or 4 JL w7's with 1000/1's

maybe a pair of JL 8w7's in the console..

whole lotta dynamat

W7s are LOUD but best is a relative statement. I like clarity over quantity and subwoofers that create music not sheer noise. Guess I'm getting too old for this shit lol.

i agree but they are still a great speaker.

When i redid my system for the 3rd time i was going for something that you could play music and do it loud. Alot of money later thats what i have. Cant wait to get my truck back together and just enjoy all of it.

agreed, w7 is THE best sub in production.

im runnin 3 jl w0's on a 500.1, 2 pair of jlvr650cs in the doors on a 300.4 on a alpine unit. now i have a pioneer head thats goin in when th enew dash goes back but the rest im happy with. far from dream system but the **** rocks for now.

also have 7" screens in the headrests, 5" in the visors and had a self made mini-itx car computer with 15" monitor below the dash. custom fiberglassed modded xbox into the center console with the mini itx board and dvd. the car comp was tight as hell but slow as you can imagine the technology is nowhere near where it is today as when i built it in 02. the car comp has been tossed but a newer model is in the plans. threre is a multi media switcher, dvd and vcr below the rear seats that will get an overhual as well.
