I have an Alpine CDA-9886 HU and I am trying to wire up a single 15" sub and a 760w amp. What gauge amp cable do I need? Any specific speaker wire? IS there anything else?

Might want to use something like 18 Foot of 4 Gauge Wire, 18 Foot RCA Cable(S), 10 Foot of speaker wire, 5-10 Foot ground wire, 18 Foot 18 Gauge Amp power turn on lead wire.

Give Crutchfield a call and tell them what Sub and Amp you have and they should recommend a whole kit that comes with everything you need.

aren't the amp kits put together based on the power of the amp? just look for an amp kit for your amp rating.

i think its also ideal to have your ground wire be a foot or less in length to be most efficient

The above lists are right on. Would recommend using 12 gauge speaker wire.
