Not talking rocket launch here... just want to get some feed back.
Looking at a 23 model Tahoe premier 4WD with about 25K. Have not got much info as yet, but my big question is...
Is this vehicle one of those having engine failures? It would be horrible to make the investment to have to deal
with engine issues.
Any advice welcome... Thanks!

6.2l is more problem prone, but the 5.3l can have problems as well.

10 speed automatic transmission valve bodies are also having problems as well.

Do your research and plan for a lot of maintence since you may not know the full history of the vehicle.

I looked and looked and finally bought a new 2024 because the used prices were close to what I would pay for new.

You might search around as you might be able to get a good deal on a new 2024 on the lot as dealers are trying to clear them out.

What about a 22, 2WD, with 70K miles, 5.3 motor. It is a certified preowned vehicle. Just do not know if this is included in the engine problems?

They pretty much all have potential for engine problems. The fact that it has 70k miles is a good thing imo. But…maybe it already had an issue and was repaired ?
