did you happen to know what your link length is, either from ball stud center point to center point or over all length of the link and end caps?

I'm sorry Lee, I don't know that ... actually I don't even know what most of that sentence means. :(

Here's a quick pic cause I haven't had time to take proper ones ... you're not going to be able to tell the difference from the previous pics cause it basically only went down half an inch.

Not sure exactly how that works because I replaced a 1" spacer with a 1/4" spacer, so you'd think the truck ass would go down 3/4", but no, it went down 1/2".

Ride is good, but I wouldn't want to go any lower. And the shop I took it at has 1/4" inch spacers so they can add and subtract height by that increment as required by the customer.

LOL...i basically was asking what the length of the links were...

u removed 3/4 of the spacer, but truck only went down 1/2 cause your air ride compensates for it and lifted it up a tad...if you play with the link length a bit, you can bring it down further

Maybe that's the pic ... I'm 34" up front and exactly 35.5" at the back.

I don't think that's it, the links and bumpstops were cut to adjust for the 3/4" drop, and the compressor hasn't turned on once since the spacer swap. I suspect it's got to do with how the coils work, but I don't know enough about it to be sure.

I like the factory rake, just not at factory height. :)

Plus before today I had a 2" rake.

That does look good. At least I can tell it is a little more level. I am afraid of taking the spacer completely out as well. As it will be to low and ride will be affected. I am putting in the spindles next Monday. Got a lift to do it on. Body shop guy is helping me do it for free.

Thanks guys ... the new esky hasn't grown on me yet. That might change when I see them in person, but right now I wouldn't trade my truck for any other. :)

Damn I've been looking for some wheels and brakes. But 4k is a little steep for my blood right now, did you order straight from wilwood? Any other brake kits recommended for my future 22's ?

I think Baer and Stop Tech kits are cheaper, although I'm not sure how good they are, and I've read that Baer calipers are bigger so more clearance is needed.

Another option that I like are R1 Concept rotors with Posi-Quiet pads. They perform well and are more than adequate for 22's. The probably don't have the "wow" factor of Willwoods or Baer but they perform very well and are durable.

Anyway, just another option for you to consider. Freedom Motorsports (TYF vendor) sells them on here. You can get the Willwoods from JennaBear (also a TYF vendor). Both are top notch to work with and I've bought from both of them :waytogo:

Thanks gentleman, those Willwoods are sexy for sure. Would it be a bad idea if I just did the fronts, or did willwood up front and r1 in the rear?
