Valve Body back order 2018 Yukon Denali

Been waiting for a 2018 GMC Yukon Denali valve body over a month. Any one else experiencing or have estimates on back order time.

I just checked my GM parts site, and I can confirm that the part is on back order.

the 10 speed is probably still current production, you might be able to find it aftermarket/modified/refurbished. (like sonnax)
current backorders are 2-4 weeks, if the dealer marks it VOR it could get there faster, not sure if that applies to a 2018

Is this under transmission valve body recall?

It is not apply to this particular year im told has a single clutch vs double clutch on 2019’s and above BUT the fix is to replace it with the Gen 3 fix that IS the same as recalled so it therefore is affected.

If you can , you might want to look at the NextGen valve bodies in aftermarket parts. There is a lot of positive buzz about them.

Finally received valve body and was installed by dealer with new filter and ATF fluid. Returned to me after (2) quick learn procedures and couple test drives. Shifts now are very hard between 2&3 gear with flares. Otherwise shifting is fine accelerating, on hwy, and decelerating. This transmission had a coolant line come off of radiator causing transmission fluid to evacuate. Had to be towed to the dealer. Mileage 162,000.

They see reason for line to come off and ruin valve body?
