Upper dash trim replacement

How do you replace the upper dash trim? The piece between the bigger front dash and the windshield.

If you're talking about the one that has the sensir on it, its just held in place with some tabs just pull off and disconnect the plug for the sensor

Remove both A pillar trims (single 7mm on the left, two 10mm holding the handle on the right), pull to remove. Then its just clips and the ambient light sensor needs unscrewed.

Doesnt sound too difficult. When its income tax time again I guess Ill have to get a new one. Sad that I priced it out and its almost as much as I paid for the entire dash when I had to replace it.

Yeah that forward piece is around the $250 mark if I remember correctly.

Yeah thats about what I found. I think the cheapest price I saw was $225. Such an expensive ride to have such minor parts break like they do and then cost as much as they do.

I believe the dash is listed as ebony. I guess they had to give black a fancier name

I need to replace mine as well. Where did you find it? Hell i really need to replace both pieces, the main one is cracked and one of the clip holders is broken.
