Twins?

Just purely for entertainment, cuz this is how my brain works... anyone ever find that their truck has a twin per say? One that looks strikingly similar to yours? Several other silver birch metallic yukon xl and Denalis here in big bear. None quite like mine though. But what everyone that knows me and the family that basically I share the house with, says our cars are twins. Everyone says mine looks more like a caddy than any other denali! Ironically there's a caddy in my driveway. Mine got a bath this morning, and then I spent the later afternoon detailing hers.

I came out of a store the other day to find another NBS Tahoe that's the same color as mine that looked exactly like my truck stock parked right next to me, and I mean even the details were the same, black fender flares, black door handles, black door molding, bug deflector, and also an LS. Would've taken a pic if the driver wasn't in the truck. It reminded me why I was modding my truck, I hate the stock look and I don't want my tahoe to look the same as others

Yeah I know the feeling! I happened to be parked at the bank in the fall and one of the other silver Denalis pulled in rolling on CK805s and she was amazed and commented on how much better my truck looked than hers. I was so proud. Haha. And ironically cuz my truck is so modded, the kids downstairs know my truck and can pick it out driving through town and why that's me

I came out of the post office one day, and a pewter Yukon XL was sitting right next to mine. Only it didn't have the LED tail lights or anything else I've done to mine.
I had to do a double take.

That reminds me, I need to remove the faded and cracked sticker that's on the rear bumper and put my "Fueled by recycled dinosaurs" sticker on my Yukon tomorrow.

The family I live with sent me a video last summer where they had pulled up at a stop light in town and she had thought she was behind me and all 3 of the older kids explained to her why it wasn't me because it didnt have all the mods ive done, and it was hilarious. They knew that my truck has the esky racks and third tail light mod, like their esky has. The best part was at the end, the oldest boy who was 8 at the time, says "um that yukon has nasty pine needles and sap stuck all over the roof, and we all know chase cleans his truck way too often for that to happen! It would NEVER look like that!" I was dying! Made my whole day!

Just days after I got mine I went to the liquor store and grabbed a bottle of captain. They ask if I want it in a bag and I always say no cause I just don't care what people think, I'll barefist a bottle across the parking lot like a boss lol.
Anyway I walk up to my truck hit the unlock but it's not working. I hear the horn but nothing is unlocking. I keep trying and getting pissed, pulling and yanking on the handle. Guy walks up and says "mind getting away from my truck!" I look at him then take a closer look at the tahoe and realize it's not mine. I'm standing there looking like a drunk idiot holding a bottle of booze and I haven't even had a drink yet lol.

Same exact options as mine. Same color, black flares, same wheels, same trim, same window visors, same badging (as I hadn't taken mine off yet). 100% stock like mine.
At the time only difference , I had a coconut air freshener on the mirror.

I'm standing there, he hops in his truck and pulls out and right on the other side is my tahoe. That's why I heard the unlock horn and it sounded like it was right there. Lol
Anyway that's my story.

Now anyone can spot 'my tahoe' , obviously exterior mods, but mainly because of the nissan wheels. I have yet to see another tahoe with those wheels. Maybe count on one hand how many tahoes in the world have those wheels.

I got some things coming (soon) that I hope will really make the truck stand out a bit, although now I'm worried I'm gonna end up looking like @Bowzer (but his truck looks great, so I'm ok with that)

Think I'll order a 1.5" body lift to do when I do the hubs and the front end components.

Significant other said "no" to a lift, because she doesn't want to climb any higher to get in it.. But I think i can squeeze an inch under it without her noticing

I drive a Black on Black GMT900 Yukon Denali with the 20's and no body mods, in a suburban area. I see 3 twins of my truck on my way into work...

Everywhere I go I see a twin to my truck. It's a white yukon xl, I swear every other vehicle is a white yukon or suburban.

Ever notice that when you get a new vehicle that all of the sudden you notice all the ones just like it around your town. I got my black 09 and now that's all I see in town. Seems everyone has a black 09 Tahoe with 20's. Never seen them before.

Not my yukon but back in the 90s I had a silver Mazda 323. Came out of a friend's house one day put the key in to unlock it and get in. As i put the key in the ignition it doesn't want to turn and i look around to notice a bunch of crap that isn't mine. Look in the rear view and see my car behind me. I got out feeling like an idiot with the people looking at me through the window. I just gave a wave, locked their car again and got into mine. I was surprised my key had unlocked their door.

I see twins of my NNBS with the WDT and LTZ 20s all over town, but there are subtleties that only mine has.

Haven't come across anybody in town similar to my NBS. Quite a few NBS in different colors on here with similar mods, even the TBSS or SS grille, Esky rack etc... Indigo Blue like @Tonyrodz and @05Single even though he doesn't like the TBSS on my truck or like blue, always stirring the pot lol But not seen another Dark Ming Blue Metallic paint. Seems to be like the Victory Red. Few and far between in the grand scheme compared to some colors. Love seeing the similar SUVs on here. Good stuff!
