Greetings to you, friends! I own a terrific Tahoe truck in 2016 in the LTZ package in Russia. I really love cars, and I have itch to think about something new for my car. In all my machines I personally put digital format dvb t or dvb t2, but in this car I wanted to get away from the usual one, and I went more modern way. Maybe someone has already done this before, but I have not found this information on the Internet, so I can assume that my choice will be useful to you
The digital TV signal can be transmitted through the following channels:
1. Through the terrestrial transmitter type Antenna transmitter -> Antenna receiver;
2. Antenna satellite ---> Antenna receiver;
3. via the Internet;
Through the Internet, you can go to the IPTV standard:
1. by cable;
2. Through WiFi;
3. Through cellular networks;
In this case, we use a cellular network as the basis, which is now practically available in all areas where people live and live, which is much better than coverage by terrestrial transmitters such as DVB-T2
To receive the signal from the mobile tower, I personally use a SIM card with unlimited Internet in the RF and a mobile router with WIFI that is connected to the USB for power and charging. It can be installed in any convenient place and transmit WIFI signal not only on the TV, but also on other devices in the car. Simply put, the car has unlimited WIFI.
Now many routers ...

To watch TV in the car, you need a device that can receive multimedia and television signals via the Internet.
For this, the easiest way is to use multimedia consoles based on Android or Linux.
Easier and at a price and because of the mass availability of freely available software.
Appearance of this.
In my case, I use the prefix on the Android platform, and it has a program for playing TV channels using IPTV technology called Perfect Player.
Advantages of IPTV technology are many ... this is the mass availability of various servers in different countries with open and free TV channels ... there are thousands of them!
In addition to the ability to view the archive and, most importantly, modern codecs allow you to send a quality signal through narrow communication channels with those who have a small internet speed that is really on the road at high speed in the car, away from the cellular towers, and the ability to view the TV guide.
The prefix is installed in any convenient place in the car, connects to the Internet via a Wi-Fi router and configures the Perfect Player program.
Connecting the set-top box to the power supply in my case occurs via a standard USB port, and to transfer images to monitors, it is connected by RCA cable to the standard audio inputs in the armrest on the rear passengers side.
In order for the channels to be visible in the installed program, you need to configure it ... for this you need to find a playlist that is free on the Internet, download it to the console, and specify the path to the playlist file in the setup program. The playlist itself can be opened for viewing by everyone and closed only for those who know the login and password ...
Playlists can differ from each other by the number and number of TV channels ...
