Turn signal turns on hazards

Right turn signal works normally. Left turn signal turns on hazards. All lights work. All normal lights, no LEDs. Grounds are fine. Temped to think it’s just the flasher.

Just figured I would post in case anyone has had a similar situation and found an easy fix. I tried searching but couldn’t find anything similar.

Most likely the flasher or a frayed wire or loose connection. Have you looked inside the column?

I have not. But it stopped acting wierd after a few days. I went crazy flipping the switch up and down a lot and it stopped… maybe it’s the switch.

As for now, if it doesn’t come back I’m not worried about it.
