Trim Around Center Vents for GPS Wire

I would like to run a wire to power my GPS that I am mounting with a PROFIT vent mount and have it so the wire is coming out of the vent.

Problem is how to get the silver trim off around the vents , does any one know how?

Which A/C vent.
The middle ones snap off with the woodgrain trim ontop of the glove area (all one piece) pretty easy.
