I am having an issue with slippage from a stop and also what feels like a bump from the rear when coming to a complete stop with my 2012 Escalade ESV. I'm trying to determine if it's a transmission issue or an issue with the slip yoke.
If I accelerate lightly from a stop or I ease the brakes to a complete stop, I don't have the issue. It's only when I'm a bit more aggressive with either that I get the symptom.
When I experience the bump from the rear when stopping, I can also hear my RPMs going up slightly and coming back down.
I don't have any fault codes. I also checked the transmission fluid quality and level. No difference in behavior between a cold transmission and one up to operating temp, either.
Any suggestions?
