Tranny Problems

What is next? My tahoe keeps eating 4l60e's for lunch. Doesn't matter if the stock, or built with the tough stuff.
Any suggestions. Has anyone switched over to a 4l80e?

I cant help you but I do know the 80 is not a direct switch - frame supports, and electrical issues.

call RPM transmisson up... they will hook you up. My buddy went threw 6 trannys with a stock 5.3. Now he is running a RPM trans and a 6.2L with heads and cam... never had a problem.

WHY is it eating transmissions?

Are you replacing all the cooling lines and the trans cooler after every grenaded trans? flushing them?
Nada?

What about the TC?

what are your trans temps like?



If you are eating transmissions you need to figure out why, instead of throwing parts at it.
