I have a 2018 Tahoe and my front passenger sensor stopped reading and a low battery level was determined. I rotated my tires without replacing but the problem sensor reading has not followed the tire which is now on the passenger rear. I tried the relearn a couple times but my display still shows (--) on the front passenger. I expected the sensor problem to follow the tire. I was wondering if anyone experienced this before I change sensors in the event this is an ECU problem and not a sensor issue. Thank you!

The positions won't change until you reset them, which can't be done with a dead sensor at any position (you can't complete the reset process). Your owner's manual should have the reset process listed, and there are many online help guides to do that once the defective sensor is replaced.
