I noticed that also...... ( But I wasn't going to ruin his day )Is that a dent in the rear bumper corner?
It’s been there for 2 years. Did that and broke both running boards in a tiny “rocky stream crossing” in Wyoming. I leave it there because the side collision sensor is sitting on in.Is that a dent in the rear bumper corner?
Did my first recovery today. Buddy was scouting a campsite, and the ground is slicker than it looks. He went right into a ditch. Fortunately I was still on the hard surface and just reeled his F150 in.I am not getting updates for this thread
Boy does it look good dirty!!
LOVE the hidden winch. How's the bumper working out for you?

Good investmentPicked up my truck Wednesday afternoon. These guys did a good job. They had to source the transmission from Santa Fe. The radiator and external oil cooler came from Albuquerque.
I drove it 700 miles home yesterday.
The cost. A lot. The transmission was in the ballpark many have mentioned.

Love it! That whole area has a ton of bentonite clay on the surface. The dominant characteristic of bentonite is that it absorbs water and the grains swell to multiple times their dry size. Slicker than snot on a hammer. I used to carry chains when wheeling in New Mexico and even then had trouble sometimes.Did my first recovery today.
