I am guessing that’s for K9 cooling? Or did you have another reason?

Yes, so I can leave the overland hound cool and comfy if I have to dash in someplace that isn't dog friendly.

The other problem we’ve encountered is places with too much intrusive regulation. Some places treat dogs just like children and they’ll burn you for an unattended dog, even in a vehicle running with climate control. We’ve come back to find passers by stalking our vehicle. Usually some misguided animal lover.
Once we were sitting in a restaurant, watching the vehicle through the window. Plus I had a two way radio with VOX in the truck so we know if the dogs get agitated. Dogs start raising hell, I look out to see the animal control officer watching my truck. He’s parked next to it. Dogs are smart enough to know he’s not acting like people normally do. If I hadn’t been right there to head that off it could have been ugly.

I haven't encountered that yet. I'm thinking along the lines of a trip long enough, I need to step into a grocery store for more steaks and dog food. The fridge is still limited on space.

Swapped some switches on thecopcar, but the plug isn’t fully populated with pigtails.
BTW, the bezel is a pain to remove.

Figured out how to R&R the rear door lock actuators for both of the twins. The parts were ever so slightly different. Now thecopcar has no manual lock rods in the way of a door card project, and theothertwin has functional manual locks in the rear doors.

Took my daughter to an after school thing and saw one of the deputies parked there. I had noticed previously the pushbar was the same Go Rhino piece I have. I hadn’t noticed the speaker arrangement before. Subtle, and not in the radiator airstream.
