Taking out DRL 99 yukon denali

So I have a 99 yukon denali with drl and I would like to put hid in but i'm having trouble putting in hid's with the drl. So my question is there away to take them out and still have headlights working when I want them to? Please let me know

Well I'm thinking I'm just got to have to spend a little extra money on the hid's and get some that have CAN-BUS because of the drl? I took out the relay box of the drl but the light on the dash some how stayed on saying they were on but no light were on at all. Also could not turn on headlight with that relay out.

1. the light on dash will stay on. 2. put the relay back in. 3. put in hids. 4 don't worry about can-bus because you don't have it.
