My passenger side tail light housing was busted but the bulbs still operated fine. I decided to buy a new housing off americantrucks.com to install myself since I got a quote to replace around $650. The housing cost $150 online.

I installed this morning but when testing it out it doesn't work. No turn signal, brakes etc..

What did I mess up? Seemed fairly easy and did it exactly like the video I watched. Everything fit fine and I even tried the old housing again and it was not working so I assume something wrong with the wiring or blew a fuse?

thanks,

For starters, it's time to check the associated fuses. Look in your owner's manual to determine which one(s) to check, and replace blown ones with the correct amp rating.

Thanks for the response but I got it fixed. For some reason it just took replacing the old bulbs with the new ones which the video I watched didn't state. Weird since the old ones worked fine but all good to go now.
