Anyone have a 2007 or newer Tahoe with a front end leveling kit? I'm thinking of putting a ReadyLift front end leveling kit on my 2008 Tahoe. Any photos of Tahoes with front end leveling kits would be greatly appreciated.

Here's 2" spacers in front and 1" spacers in the rear. I have the LTZ with Autoride and autolevel and I thought the back was mandatory.

Also running 285/55/20 BFGs on stock rims.

I thought that after the kit, there was too much sway so I added Hotchkis sway bars and it really helped flatten out in turns.

The install is doable with a couple people, but if you have access to a lift (rather than jack stands) it will be much easier.

You'll also have to get the knockouts from the dealer to do the alignment.

Got a ReadyLift 1.5" front level kit put on this weekend. Finally got rid of the dreaded front end slant.

Hey Snomon, does your autoride/autolevel still work with the 1" spacer in rear?

I've also got an LTZ w/ autoride and want to do something similar to your setup.

Thanks!

2007 Z71 Tahoe

This is a 2007 Z71. It currently has the 1.5" lift. Putting the additional .75" on this week. I am running 285/65/18 Nitto Terra grapplers. Little rub on the front left due to the windshield washer fluid box. I hope the extra .75" will fix it.

Timgco, you mentioned getting the "knockouts" from the dealer to do the alignment. What are these?

For anyone, my brother in law talked with a 4x4 specialist that just does lifts about a leveling kit for his '08 GMC pickup and said that there would be problems down the road with just doing this spacer lift. Said it isn't worth it to go any less than something that moves the lower arms and the whole sh'bang. Anyone have any input?

SW CT,
If you keep it to a max of 2.5" lift from a spacer the balljoints,cv's,tierods are all within factory spec...I've got about 25-30k miles on my setup with zero issues.

does anyone know if you can un-plug the auto ride and it be fine or has anyone had a problem with pluging it back in after the leveling kit was installed

Hello, yes the autoride/leveling does work with the 1" spacers and I did not mess with the adjustment rods.

Note depending on the trailer (if you have one) you will now need extra long drop stinger. I had to go from 6" drop to 8" drop stinger after the spacers.

No problems with autoride after my 2" front and 1" rear installed. I don't think they did anything special to disconnect the A/R.

They all look great guys. Since Blackbear can't give me a date on the handheld being available, this has popped to the top of the list.
