Tahoe stock Wheels chrome 20" GO or NO GO "Updated with Pic"

Hi guys,

I have 07 Tahoe LS, with 17" wheel. I found what I think nice deal on stock 4 chrome 20" (For $600 "what do you think about the price") with 50~70 life on them. Over all Wheels looks in a very god condition. My Question is do I need to change anything in the car suspension system or just change the wheel and I am good to go.

I have a bad experience with one of my old car where I did upgrade and then regret what I did.

Please Advice.:Handshake:

You'll need to post a pic of the wheels if you want opinions. There are lots of 20" factory wheels, some look good and some don't. $600 sounds like a great deal unless something is wrong with them. You won't have to make any changes to the truck, but you'll probably find yourself wanting to lower it. I want to drop mine now after adding my 20's, but can't spend the money right now.

I originally liked the 20" chrome clad wheels on my 2010 but not so much anymore. They're basically plastic cladding over the aluminum wheels. I'm wondering how well they'll hold up over time. I might just look around for a direct bolt on aftermarket 2-" wheel. I'm not looking for anything larger, just something nicer.

That "small" dent looks like a BIG dent to me. Can you show that pic to a wheel/tire shop guy and have him tell you if it can be banged out? If not, and the tire constantly loses air, then you're not going to be particularly happy with the deal, no matter what kind of deal you get.

Love the wheels - direct swap but agree with above!

And beware, not sure where you live, but if it is someplace where they use salt on the roads in the winter, it eats through that plastic coating and makes it peel off. Happened to me before I sold mine.
