Swap captains for bench 22 and up

Hey all, first post here. Somewhat confused on swapping captains chair for a bench on 22 and up Yukon. I am about to pull the trigger on a 23 at4 Yukon, but the capyltains chair is a no go for my needs, I need that extra seat.

So, I am fine swapping a bench over myself, but I've had two salespeople say it can't be done. However I have seen threads here with up to 2021 Yukons swapping seats, and maybe a 22 but I couldn't be sure.

So I have searched, but I'm getting conflicting info.

Could anyone help out and confirm or deny if its been done on a 23 or 22 Yukon swapping from captain to bench? Going to look at the truck Monday and this will make or break the deal.

Order an SLE and get benches in ALL THE ROWS! (I kid, I kid.)

As the owner of someone with a middle bench and have had things flipped forward etc it doesn't look to me like there's any difference in the floorpan.

While i am certainly not 100% positive about it, i would be extremely surprised if the body between the bench seat and captains seat equipped vehicles were any different at all. They are most likely identical, and if that is the case it should be a simple remove/reinstall swap i would think.

Whelp, looks like I'm gonna pull the trigger and hope for the best. Once I take possession I will definitely look under carpets and such and see what's what. If its at all possible I will do the swap and document it for all.

One thing to check would be the seatbelt mounting locations!

Not sure, can you get a bench w/ the Sunroof? Or, is the 2nd row center seat seatbelt mounted in the cieling?

NVM, yes, you can have a bench w/ the sunroof.
You will need to figure out if you have manual or power folding buckets and make sure you get the correct bench to swap in.

Did you find someone to swap seats with? I have a ‘23 at4 bench seat, would love to swap for bucket seats.

Hey, just saw this. I have not swapped out and still have the captains. Does your At4 bench have the outboard heated seats? I would def be interested in a swap
