I have a 2000 Tahoe and just installed new shocks Bilstine, however, the ride I am feeling feels as if there is no suspension at all, slam when I go over bumps, just not smooth at all. Do I need to replace Springs, ball joints, u-joints or something else?

Thanks for the help

Check the shock installation, something is amiss here my truck rides great with 6" of drop and bilsteins at all 4 corners.

Couple of questions for you to ponder:

1. Did you do the install yourself, or did a shop do it? Either way, you need to check the setup and installation and see if anything was missed.

2. Where did you buy the shocks? Is there any possibility that they could be blown out or damaged somehow?

3. When was the last time you had the rest of your suspension components checked out or replaced?

4. Are there any certain noises that you are hearing, or is it just a change in the ride quality?

5. If you ARE hearing noises, where are they coming from specifically?
