I want to put a little bump in my 08 hybrid and was wondering if the factory subwoofer might fit. I can for the JL or MTX route as well but don't want a big box taking up the back cargo space. Merry Christmas!

Unless I'm mistaken all Bose systems are with sub.

Have you tried turning everything down and the bass all the way up to hear if any sound is coming out of your center console ... it might be that it could be blown or a connection has come loose.

Have you put your hand on the center console with the volume turned up and feel if it's vibrating to make sure it's working? It might be that the sub went bad or a connection came loose.
