Hey guys just bought a 2009 Tahoe LT with 40k miles and recently joined the forum. I have noticed at speeds between 70 and 75 mph, the steering gets a bit wobbly...can even feel it a bit in the floorboard. After doing a little research here and other places it sounds like its most likely a wheel balance issue. According to the dealer I bought it at, it had an alignment done in February. Does this diagnosis sound right? The truck is certified so I want to bring it in and have it looked at. I believe under the CPO its got an initial bumper-to-bumper warranty for the 1st year/12k miles. I would assume that if this ends up being a rim issue it would be replaced under the CPO? Is that a correct assumption?

Appreciate the advice.

I'd check the balance first. If that's not it the issue could be ball joints, tires,.....

Cool thanks. It had brand new tires on the and the fronts weren't that bad, but I'll start with the balance and go from there. Want to get it sorted out before the warranty expires.

I would say that 99% its a balance issue. Balance shows up right in that highway speed limit sweet spot of 65-75mph.
