i know i want one but after a decent amp , stealth sub, and PAC converter (for the bose) i am looking at $1000 and thats installing myself. i am just gonna keep my eyes open for a deal. i hate my 5.25 subwoofer. i don't even know how they can justify calling it a sub.

With an amp, it's a significant upgrade over stock. It is a little spendy, but I like the fact that you don't lose any cargo room.

build your own.
You can port a couple of 8's in a pretty small box or seal them if you prefer.
Sundown SA8 or the Soundsplinter RL-i 8 would walk all over a prefab box and shallow sub.

The RL-i 8 is supposed to be back for sale soon and they love small boxes.
Sexy little sucker it is too.
