i have everything just sitting in the garage. i want to keep my spare tire with my street scene urathane rollpan and sir micheals hidden hitch. looking under there, i don't see how that could fit with keeping a spare. where can i get a relocator, or won't that even work with the hitch under there?

you will need a smaller than stock height tire to fit the spare in there with the hitch and then it may not hang properly with the sir mike's relocator as it only moves the spare back about 1-2". on my99 sierra i just had to place the spare in the bed to keep the hidden hitch mounted.

i know it looks better without a spare, but now it's not just me in my silverado, it's going to be me, wife, and baby, that's why i got a tahoe.

i wonder how small i could go with a spare. right now theres a 30.4" under there.

Just throw the spare in the back. I tried putting my spare back on after the roll pan install but the tire hits the roll pan and it's just not a 1/4 or so it was 2-3 inches from clearing. I sad screw it and just removed everything under the tahoe that had to do with the spare.

i dont have a spare on my truck at all anymore. i took it and threw it in my shop. The only time i will put it "in" my truck is for longer trips and such where i dont feel the need to bother family members.. lol

on my 02 with the roll pan and hidden hitch, it doesnt look at all possible.

i can make a spare relocator plate, i'm just wondering if there is enough room between the hidden hitch and the rear axle pumpkin.
