I think I have decided on the Spintech 3000 or 6000 muffler, but just curious what you guys are running (5.3 or 6.2) muffler wise!

I have had the 12589 on two 5.3s and two 6.0s. Love it on anything lol.

Word of advice...no aftermarket muffler will have the stock lopey "cam" sound of a stock muffler...they are just too free flowing...to get that stock awesome idle the denalis have, you need baffles, period, and have to sacrifice some free flow. To get that back, you will need an actual cam with a more aggressive idle....

Not so......

There are aftermarket baffled mufflers available that kinda come close.

Well, agreed...what i meant is that the baffles is where awesome 6.2 sound comes from...i was disappointed with the idle of the maggy muffler compared to stock....flow wise its a different story....two weeks ago i had my truck next to a completely stock denali...the stock sounded way more aggressive at idle than my catless long tube headers and magnaflow.

Yes but at WOT the free flow design screams lol

Oh yeah...i have driven the car w the rear access window open with the stock muffler and the full exhaust...stock it would sound like pushing pressurized air thru a small tube...
