After I installed the intake on the Tahoe I didnt like how the factory "resonator tube" under the engine cover left a gapping hole. It just looked odd and unfinished. So I decided to do something about it. I should have taken more in process photos before it was primed but you get the idea.

After intake installed. You can see the large rectangle opening above the pipe I am referring to.

Problem solved and primed with high build primer to get rid of the grain. The cover will be smooth and two toned when done.

Im still debating on filling the "Vortec" logo on the top, not sure yet. But the center raised area will be greystone to match and the surrounding lower portion will be gloss black.

If I got rid of the voretc inlay I was going to get one of these for the front of it.
