Side gapping spark plugs?

I think for a daily driver the juice is probably not worth the squeeze.

In the same breath I will tell you that I have never personally tried it. I just think that any gains would be less than perceptible seat of the pants or at the pump and since it causes the plugs to wear faster you would be regapping plugs a lot more than you probably want to.

Also if you are running the iridium plugs, like the truck came from the factory with, it would be harder to gap properly because of how the electrode comes to a point rather than being flat on top.

With all that being said, if you do decide to try it please post your results... seat of the pants, fuel MPG before and after, and how frequently you have to regap the plugs.
