Serge can explain it better but it actually helps. Sometimes drivers get tunnel vision and only concentrate on whats in front so it allows your mind to open up...
Correct. This is why some pro drivers will talk about any random shit while in a race. It is a preference thing. But especially the 24hr lemans guys have to talk about golf or how bad Michael Jordan is at golf or whatever because if not they will loose focus.
