Good day, all.
I popped the hood today to investigate the weird rattle coming from somewhere in the engine bay. Much to my dismay, I found that the bushing and top bolt on the passenger side shock had been sheared completely off. No idea how that happened, but I'm pretty sure it's the source of the rattle!
It also looks like the sensor pictured below was sheared from its clip that holds it onto the part of the frame that the shock attaches to. Can anyone identify what that sensor or electronic device is in the picture below? I'm using a socket extension to point to it in the photo below. I suspect it's part of the OEM suspension, as it seems to connect further down to the control arms and such. If anyone knows what it is, it'd be greatly appreciated!
