seats fully recline help

i want my 01 suburban seats to fully recline and the threads on here i have read and tried yesterday and my seats are different. they are power seats and heated and leather of course but they have a white tube and a spring and i couldnt find the little gold ring anywhere ....

how 'power' are they?

if they are not full 8 way power then you don;t get the little screw jack.

Someone here did figure out how to fully recline the manual back ones, and posted pics of it about a month or two ago.

Yeah, check out that thread. I wrote up the tread and just did my driver side this past weekend. For the driver's seat I just took off the whole spring, so I didn't have to worry if I did enough or not. I still grinded down the whole bolt down to the bottom. I posted some pictures on the exact type of seat that I have. Post a picture of your seats and/or the mechanism so that we can distinguish what type of seats you have.

yes they recline automatic and mines a 01 and have the spring in them but idk i need help still
