I picked up this kit for my recently purchased 2024 Z71 Tahoe. Anybody else try this setup using OEM Crossbars? I’ll post a review after I use this setup for a Tahoe snow trip I’m taking in February. It took a ton of research to come up with what I think will fulfill my needs. Please post pics with what you guys are using to store gear up top.

I have a Rola Cargo Rack on mine. Similar Amazon bag. The only thing I added was better ratchet straps. But I have done a couple trips now with this setup and it works well. Gas mileage takes a hit too.

Ditto. Thule XXL works like a champ (lots of space, light for its size, sturdy & seemingly aerodynamic = little noise or noticeable impact to MPG). I honestly forget it’s there on highway drives.

Thanks for the responses. I’ll be trying out the Basket with the bag in February. If it doesn’t meet the needs for long distance travel I’ll pick up that Thule XXL for a 4k round trip from Cali to Washington coming up in April.

Phenomenal vehicle. I really have no complaints after almost a year of owning. Performance is as advertised (impressive for such a large ICE vehicle), comfort & tech are outstanding (albeit not too different from a Sport Platinum or Premium Luxury Platinum), and somewhat surprising MPG (without a lead foot, I can average 15-16mpg in-town and 19-20mpg on the highway).

It’s stock on the V-Series, so straight from the factory.

I have almost the same rack. I went with an apache 9800 hard case from HF. A couple of u bolts drilled from the bottom through the bars and it's rock solid. I use it like a trunk. Bottle jack, tools, sleeping mattress...

I still have half the rack free. Picked up a bungee web that covers it like what came with yours.

Thule Motion XT L on OEM rails. Wouldn’t fit in our Condo garage at Keystone, so had to spend our trip in the oversized parking lot.
