wow...its 2:00am here in VA. I just wennt through your entire build. Last time I looked atat his you had just got the rims.
So
1: What tires did you end up getting? Brand/Size/price
2: Since you have had the big rims and drop for a while,how do you like it? I am terrified to run skinny tires because of pot holes. Whats your take on this.
3: I am replacing my carpet in my suburban which type carpet did you get and how happy are you with the feel? Plush Cut or Ultra Plush Cut?
4: What amp/amps did you end up using for your highs? My last build I glassed 5 6.5" Beyma 6MI90 pro audio mids with 2 Selenium ST350 super tweets into each door, talk about a loud and very clear door. I use a Cadence ZRS C2 for my mids (1000x2 @1 ohm) and a Cadence ZRS C9 for my tweets (150x4)...my new highs setup is 4 10" Cadence mids, 2 8" Cadence mids and 3-4 Cadence super tweets in each front door...Each back door is getting 3 10" mids and 3 super tweets and the Center console is getting 4 10" mids and 2 super tweets. Total is 16 10" mids, 4 8" mids and 16 super tweets

2) the ride is a little rough but not that bad is not my daily driver so im ok with it
3) i got the carpet from stock interior.com and i got the plush cut with the mass backing, it was hell to put in i would never do it again too many wires to hide and rewire.
4) i'm still looking for an amp for the highs but i'm thinking about getting an rockford fosgate 600 watt and im using my jl audio 300/4 to push the two 8s
that sounds like a bad ass system you got any pics if so please post need to see it

Did you end up getting the silvy?
still working out the details so hopefully by friday
its a 2002 silverado LS Z71 everything works on it
leather , all power, 180xxx miles,fabtech 6in lift, 3in body lift ,2in keys,new tranny,20in rock star rims, 35's mud tires , he wants 12 grand i told him i would give him 10 i did a blue book on the truck and it says the truck is worth 8,600 with out the addition that he did to it,,,, so what you think 07burb is that a good price?

If you can get it for $10k that's not bad as long as all the maintenance components are in good shape and up to ***** and assuming the lift job isn't hacked. It also depends on what mods you wanna change or improve. It's definitely a solid looking base with some nice mods already completed
well the man selling was a mechanic for gm for 10 years and did all the maintenance to the truck and also the lift and when i drove it last week it felt solid, this truck belongs to his wife she drove it so im thinking this may be a good one from what i have seen so i hope it all works out by friday and i'm really not doing anything to it right now i will have to learn about lifted trucks never had one always had lowered vehicles

then I'd definitely be in for $10k on it! some people are scared by the mileage but if its been taken care of properly these GMs will last much longer than 180k without much problem

got the silverado will start modding A.S.A.P. i started with the side molding and for some reason it pulled the paint off on the rear door,"F"

I had black rock stars on my Nissan frontier. To make the center caps cleaner looking I cut the plastic posts that the bolts go through down the width of electrical tape and ordered shorter bolts.
thats a good idea i will try to do that when i get some time. thanks
