Anyone know of anyone that does high-quality projector retrofitting for Yukons? I'm not liking the cheapness of the build in most aftermarket housings and would like to get quality glass projectors with good focus and cutoff. I know a lot of people don't really care, but I'm sort of a light nut and know what is good light and what is just too much light, and the right projector can make all the difference in the world.

They did the projectors in my Grand Cherokee. kinda pricey, but Todd's work is top notch. Tell him Mike with the Grand referred you. I don't get nothin for that, but he might remember me because he cursed my lights from the start.
Turn-around was relatively quick too. I think mine were back to me inside of 2 weeks, and that's with all the problems he had.

Another option you have is to get a set of eBay projectors and put in glass ones yourself. Most projectors are 4 screws holding them in. You pop the old ones out, pop the new ones in. I'm sure Todd can advise you on that and point you to some parts as well.

Thanks Mike. I may contact him. I'm in talks with lightwerkz.com to see if they can come up with an s2000 retro. He's checking them out to see what he can do. Size, especially the depth of these lights, may be an issue as they are shallow and don't have much extension room.
And 05, I can't really say whether the stock ones are good or not, since I bought my Denali used and both headlights are cracked and chipped and have multiple epoxy fixes. Keeps the water out, but screws the lighting up. And since most OEM replacements are going to cost $500-600 anyway, I figure I may as well at least take a look at the custom options. Lightwerkz thinks they might be able to take a much cheaper aftermarket housing and build onto that a good retrofit for about the same cost.
Right now I'm just exploring options and pricing. I just replaced my bulbs today with Silverstar Ultra's, which may improve my opinion of the stock lighting capabilities. It was using some bulbs called Wagner and they were the long life ones, which almost always also means less bright.
I may also look into simply taking my stock projectors and putting them in an ebay aftermarket light like Mike suggested. That may work just fine if the housing will allow a simple bolt on addition of a different projector. Guess I'll need to do more research into that possibility. That could be the cheapest and easiest solution.

Not to post-***** or anything, but update to that last post. I took the truck out for a spin in the dark, and man, I had crap bulbs in there before. Just getting some brighter bulbs really helped, and I can now actually see my cutoff. It looks pretty good, so these projectors aren't as bad as I was thinking.
