I have a 2010 yukon with factory bose and I wanted to install my alpine IVA-W505 dvd player in it, what wiring harnes adaptor will I need? I have a PAC OS-3 from my silverado but dont know if that would work on my new truck.

Thanks

OS-3Bose will work, but will take a little more labor if you need any kind of VSS or Rear Signal Input wire. The OS-4 is really what you need. Especially since you should have bluetooth and the OS-3Bose will not retain your bluetooth. OS-4 will keep Bluetooth, XM, On-Star and all chimes. You can find an OS-4 on Amazon for around $100. PAC Audio sells them for around $200. Your local install shop will probably charge closer to $200.

In the end, I'd go with the OS-4. Don't forget the PAC SWI-JACK to retain all of your steering wheel controls as well. I think I saw them online for around $40-$50. The OS-4 integrates perfectly into the SWI-JACK as well.

Edit:
Didn't pay attention that you just had the OS-3, not the OS-3Bose. That won't work on a Bose system. Definitely need a new one and I'd go with the OS-4.

Thanks for the info, ordered the os4 and it should be here soon. Already have the SWI-jack so hopefully everything goes well. Will the stock bose sub still work after I change the deck out??

Yah, the "sub" will still work. It's pretty much a 5.25" (I think) woofer --- not really anything to brag about. Installed my system yesterday with OS-4 and the SWI-PS and everything's working just like factory. The aftermarket deck definitely puts the speakers to better use than the factory deck did. The good thing about the OS-4 is that it takes away any splicing to use the SWI-JACK. There is a harness directly from OS-4 that plugs into the SWI-JACK. Makes life a lot easier, especially if you're nervous about splicing into factory harnesses.

I installed my deck yesterday, everything went good. All the stock features still work the OS4 and SWI jack worked great. The hardest thing to do is get all the wires behing the deck tucked away nicely. It sounds good with the stock bose system. now for some 12's behind the third row.
